TV hurricane coverage failed my family

Disaster coverage tends to focus on destruction and damage, but as Adam Ragusea notes, “in a situation like (Hurricane) Irma, the fact that some buildings appear relatively unscathed is just as newsworthy as the destruction of others—at least, if one of those buildings is your home.”
